lottafaith, but with continued walking, a little more every week or two, I got my strength back. Until they started to ache because of the osteoarthritis in my left hip! Had the total hip replacement and had to do daily walking to gain strength again. Hopefully you can too!

Peripheral Neuropathy: COVID March 2020, 66 yrs old, retired but active. 2 miles a day on the treadmill. Over the next 6 months, progressive leg weakness and instability. I could not use the treadmill at all. By Feb 2021, severe leg pain and inability to walk, except very slowly. March 2021, hospital vascular clinic, Diagnosis: Peripheral Neuropathy and Raynauds. immediately STOPED all gluten. Within one week, pain dissipating. By 3 weeks, leg strength better. Added 1500 mg l-proline (Now brand), which is the active AA in collegan. After 3 months, 90% leg strength is back and I am on the treadmill again. Currently, at 71 yrs old, I still eat NO gluten. and continue to take 1500 mg l-proline. NO processed meat, cheese, or red meat. Love pizza: NO pizza! Primarly, blueberries, Rolled oats, vegetables, Pea based protein powder, oat milk, and chicken breast.

Not ache so much as they just feel so heavy and like jello or spaghetti. I can only walk a very short distance with a walker and must sit down

I have.Weakness, feeling unstable. It passes though.Never bad enough to have a fall or anything.Doesn't occur too much.Joined a gym to work out legs.Haven't started yet,but soon.I lost so much weight during the worst part of my LC.(down to 130 at one period of time).I'm 6'1,71 yrs old.I SHOULD be at around 165 lbs.I'm at 140 consistently. And I eat.So that's where I'm at.Been several years now my weight dropped and never returned(yet). It may never,IDK...but the plan is to start my workouts and take it from there.Legs only.Hope you can get through your leg issues...they are a weird symptom.Like right now,my legs feel fine.So I hope yours will also...God Bless ya...I drink a LOT of water throughout the day.Stay Hydrated.

There were days when my joints and muscles hurt so bad that I didn't want to get out of bed...my doctor told me water arobics would help..it did a little but I still hurt walking. My water arobics teacher told me to try this every morning for inflammation. 1tsp ground ginger, 1/2 a fresh squeezed lemon, squirt of honey in a glass of water. After a week all my hurting has stopped! My knees start hurting my the end of the day if I've walked alot. Maybe this will help you...

My leg muscles are very weak. I’ve done PT to no avail. I fall down mostly away from home. I can’t get myself up due to the weakness. I have a cane now. My temperature changes probably 15 times a day. Freezing or sweating. Blankets and my robe are necessary. On off on off all day long! Fan on Fan off. Temp up temp down. It’s ridiculous. My husband never says a word. He’s very patient with me.

The only way I knew to even test for Covid last year was that my legs had this weird achiness that I experienced many years ago when I had a virus. Now with Long Covid my legs ache sometimes lightly and often deeply, its the only way I can describe it, mostly quads and hamstrings, sometimes both my whole legs. Occasionally I get quick sharp pains in my quads all since long covid, never before. PEM makes them worse, moist heat and magnesium cream and an herbal cream I found at a local herbal apothecary all help to at least ease the aching at times. I have a difficult time standing for any real length of time. I have to sit to do most things. My legs don't feel weak, they feel deeply achy and fatigued every day. I find it hard to explain it to people who have never had this experience. Anyone else find this to be their experience?

@annies444 I had that for almost 2 years. As LC has been working its way out of my system, the leg issues are now primarily in my right leg. It's super annoying. I also have (maybe) restless leg syndrome at night, but i tried dry needling 2 weeks ago and had 2 weeks of relief. TWO FULL WEEKS it's a miracle.

My mom has the back of her legs hurt her every morning. When she wakes up she can hardly walk. They’ve taken X-rays and say it’s nothing. She says it feels like her muscles are grabbing her. She too has LC.

@krissyvegas my legs ache. I get up. A couple times a night and rub a cream on them. During the day I wear compression socks. Both of these things don’t stop the ache but help a little. I’ve recently noticed more leg veins. What have you tried that seems to help? Thank you
