I had bilateral TKR 4 yr ago. Years of complaining about sharp pain. Tests always came back normal. More PT.
June 23,2025 had left knee revision. Bone cement didn’t hold on femoral bone. Since that revision loud popping and clunking in knee with swelling. Heading to surgery 10/6 to have polymer spacer replaced. Anyone with similar experience? Outcome?

So you are having revision surgery on the same revision you just had less than 3 months ago?

Hi wallygator. I wrote to you yesterday about my TKR results and asked why they did not evaluate (for instability) and replace the spacer at the time of your initial revision 4 months ago? I am shocked they would suggest doing another major surgery so soon on you as opposed to waiting to see if "things settle down" after an appropriate amount of time for swelling to subside and healing to take place. Also, I wanted to ask if your ROM was ever an issue for you?
