That sounds like a good start. They have up to six sessions because the first sessions may reduce the metastasis a lot and further sessions reduce it even more.

You don’t mention what your PSA was before chemo, So maybe that is a really great start If it was a higher number.

Yes,,,

As @jeffmarc says, with one down and five to go, favorable.

You don't say what your clinical history is so hard to comment with any degree of fidelity,

Are you newly diagnosed, if not, have you had surgery, when and what was the pathology report, if not surgery, what prior treatment did you have, are you on triplet therapy, are your hormone sensitive or castrate resistant, any labs such as PSA, genomic testing, imaging, if so, what did it show...

There is data in the literature from clinical trials that points to those achieving a PSA nadir of < .2 in the first six months are favorable in terms of progression free survival when completing treatment.

I did chemotherapy as part of triplet starting in Jan 17. My starting PSA was 4.3, then .88. .2, ,11 then .01 and stayed there the duration of treatment. My PFS period was just about five years See attached clinical history chart).

I had prostrate surgery in 2005 went back 2 x for fu last psa was .08 I guess I didn't understand everything and thought things were OK my urologist never went over numbers so I went about my way and here I am. If I hadn't had a colonoscopy I would have never known. I looked on my colonoscopy report and the reader saw something that needed further attention: I ask the gi dr to send referral to urologist thus psa of 56 referral for PET scan and here we are thankful to jeffmarc and others encouraging me to see an oncologist.
