I had to spend an extra night in the hospital since one of the drains kept filling with blood.
Even at discharge and drain removal it was oozing a bit.
Everything resolved in a day or two, but be SURE you monitor this. You should not have bright cherry red blood leaking out for more than a day or two.
Also, NO STRAINING ON THE TOILET!! I did real damage and had to have another surgery to repair my urethra/bladder. Best,
