An option is to request a reduced doseage. In osteoporosis we are faced all too often with a one-size-fits-all mentality. There is some evidence that even a 1 mg dose could be very effective.

I’m wondering if that would be a good option to start with and see what side effects there are.

I took the lower dose which is Zometa. That’s 4 mgm of reclast. I did fine. I’m 83 with osteopenia but long term steroids a risk factor.
