I was showing that my B12 was low several years ago. My doctor did a genetic test which resulted in a switch to Methylated B12. At that time no dosage of B12 was advised. I started taking a high dose. Last year, my blood work up showed my levels were too high. My doctor recommended a Methylated B complex which contains 900mg of B12. Excessive levels are dangerous and can lead to early death.
