I don’t think you have anything to lose - other than time; but Ivermectin will raise your liver enzymes to unsafe levels so please be sure to monitor those closely.
Would love to hear a positive report from you in a few months since so far most reports are anecdotal.
If you're leaning towards radiation, then I'd suggest considering "radiosensitizers" to weaken the PC and make it more susceptible to being destroyed by the radiation treatments.
Besides stopping testosterone replacement therapy 60 days before the start of my radiation (I had Gleason 4+3 unfavorable intermediate PC), I decided to use the following as radiosensitizers based primarily on information from pre-clinical studies (all amounts were daily dosages):
- two low dose aspirin pills (there's actually a phase 3 clinical trial currently going on for "Add Asprin" in the UK; quite promising)
- 1500 mg berberine
- 20 mg low dose Atorvastin
- switched my high blood pressure medicine to 80 mg extended release Propranolol
- 100 mg Doxycyline (I discontinued this after the first month due to stomach problems)
I've also read good things about Metformin as a radiosensitizer, but I didn't know that at the time of my radiation. I might have substituted Metformin for Berberine if I knew this earlier.
Best wishes!
Welcome, @badbrad. I moved your question about the use of ivermectin and other supplements to treat prostate cancer to this related discussion:

I encourage you to read the posts and resources shared in the discussion.
I see that you are looking into alternative therapies. There's a lot of information as well as misinformation circulating about ivermectin and its use as a treatment for cancer. Here's a clear and well-written article about repurposed drugs being researched for cancer.
