I was disgnosed with prostate cancer (PSA 6.5 , Gleason Score 3+4 , PSA Density 0.156 , Number of Cores Collected / Positive 23/15 ).
It will be 3-4 months before I make a decision to have Radiation of the prostate or Sugary to remove the prostate. While I am waiting to make a decision I would like to try the Ivermectin protocol treatment (Ivermectin, olive oil, Vitimum E , CBD and Curcumin).
I have discussed my plans to do this with my radiology doctor and have an appointment to discuss further with my urologist and kidney doctors as well. During the 3-4 months I will actively have regular blood test to check my PSA , Kidney function and Liver to monitor any changes.

Welcome, @badbrad. I moved your question about the use of ivermectin and other supplements to treat prostate cancer to this related discussion:
- Ivermectin for Prostate Cancer? (Being studied) https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/ivermectin-for-prostate-cancer/

I encourage you to read the posts and resources shared in the discussion.

I see that you are looking into alternative therapies. There's a lot of information as well as misinformation circulating about ivermectin and its use as a treatment for cancer. Here's a clear and well-written article about repurposed drugs being researched for cancer.

- Separating fact from fiction: repurposed drugs in cancer treatment https://www.anticancerfund.org/en/blog/separating-fact-fiction-repurposed-drugs-cancer-treatment

Here's some guidance from Mayo Clinic experts that might help your evaluation of these therapies:

I don’t think you have anything to lose - other than time; but Ivermectin will raise your liver enzymes to unsafe levels so please be sure to monitor those closely.
Would love to hear a positive report from you in a few months since so far most reports are anecdotal.

If you're leaning towards radiation, then I'd suggest considering "radiosensitizers" to weaken the PC and make it more susceptible to being destroyed by the radiation treatments.

Besides stopping testosterone replacement therapy 60 days before the start of my radiation (I had Gleason 4+3 unfavorable intermediate PC), I decided to use the following as radiosensitizers based primarily on information from pre-clinical studies (all amounts were daily dosages):
- two low dose aspirin pills (there's actually a phase 3 clinical trial currently going on for "Add Asprin" in the UK; quite promising)
- 1500 mg berberine
- 20 mg low dose Atorvastin
- switched my high blood pressure medicine to 80 mg extended release Propranolol
- 100 mg Doxycyline (I discontinued this after the first month due to stomach problems)

I've also read good things about Metformin as a radiosensitizer, but I didn't know that at the time of my radiation. I might have substituted Metformin for Berberine if I knew this earlier.

Best wishes!
