Thank you for sharing the video. Phage therapy for MABC came up during both the 2025 NJH BE NTM Patient Conference on Saturday (9/13) and an expanded NJH patient conference. Dr Daly (NJH) mentioned that a double lung transplant recipient was given phage treatment for MABC prior to the transplant, and they could not find any MABC in his lungs-I think NJH had the lungs. This is really encouraging. I've been testing negative the last 3 cultures, but now after hearing a 50% recurrence rate and that a negative in one assay, can be a positive in another assay (per John Wikstrom)-has me still a little anxious. Dr Daly also mentioned there were a number of ongoing phage studies. I haven't searched for them yet but probably could find on "clinicaltrials.org". It's quite exciting! MABC has such rotten stats, so it's so nice that they are working on the phage bank.
