NSAIDS and Tylenol are not as effective as opioids. If that were the case we wouldn’t have people who commit suicide because they can’t get their pain treated. And this comes about due to the misinformation that is out there regarding the effectiveness of opioid pain medication. I ask my doctors if they have experienced chronic pain and I have yet to find one who has.

Interesting take on what docs know about pain. After years of seeing pain docs both in private practice and hospital settings I came across one who said constant pain is what lead him into anesthesiology/pain med. Can't say that it has made a difference; two surgeries, multiple jabs, Tramadol, and still can't walk around the block. But hope springs eternal...
