Please check your Thyroid. THS and T4. I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy, but my THS was very high. When I got my THS in the 3 range my neuropathy went away. Doctors make mistakes.

@lymphedema654 I have multiple autoimmune conditions as well as Hashimoto’s/ Hypothyroidism (which doctors were so puzzled at the time trying to figure all my other issues out when the thyroid situation was hypo- and not “hyper” version I’m petite, 110 lbs, non-diabetic, etc etc etc) it was under control for a while, which my numbers were very low and manageable - I’d have to look but for some reason, I think I had numbers that registered 2.XX a few times!) My small fiber neuropathy - which my old neuro was not very helpful to understand it, but am seeing a new one now as I’ve moved out of state and actually have an appt tomorrow so I’m going to inquire further, because everything I read about SFN it’s talking about numbness/tingling, etc. yet I feel like I have Spider-Man senses - where I literally can feel the smallest tiniest little piece of pollen or dust or dirt and it’s excruciating - my other autoimmune conditions have unfortunately progressed and morphed and now have trigeminal neuralgia - which let me tell ya when a 14 yr break up took me from Florida to Indiana on Nov 1 2024, winter was absolutely miserable here & the pain/senses etc from car vents and air registers in the home, wind, wow - all I can say it’s a whole new level of misery!!!! But I digress….I reached out to your comment because recently my thyroid numbers jumped to the 7/8 range - so they’ve upped my levothyroxine - although I’m not sure how the hypothyroidism / Hashimoto’s’ was affecting me anyway since all my other problems also have symptoms that would be the same as thyroid issue I have - and my neuropathy problems never have changed, even with medications (gabapentin previously which didnt really work in any way for me; and i prefer the pregabalin instead as I notice when i do finally go to sleep, I sleep soundly for a few hours, whereas without it - not a chance! So was there something additionally you did when you got it under control to impact your neuropathy side? Especially since I have the TN now, which in my brain is in the same realm as neuropathy but on a whole new stage! 🙁

I’m sure upon your diagnosis and the fact that you mentioned it in this thread to have it checked - maybe you can private message me and share some more info that may be helpful to me to understand how that aspect may be added to my list of other issues - - thanks!!!! Sending blessing your way!!!!
