Some strains of COVID in some people can be horrible and long-lasting. You may be in that unfortunate cohort. Or, you may have something else going on. If your heart rate is higher than 100 BPM, and if it stays there for more than 24 hours, you should go to the local ER. But you should always follow the proper advice from a competent medical authority, especially your doctor (and not me). I'm speaking only on the basis of what was told to me after my ablation. Expect short runs of AF here and there, maybe yes, maybe no, but don't be alarmed if you get them, especially the first three/four weeks. After that, they should disappear. If not, it usually means a potentially failed ablation. You don't mention any high HR, low BP, or runs of arrhythmia, so I think your EP got all he/she had to.
Maybe just rest, and keep an eye on that HR. Again, if it climbs up over 100 and stays there, don't let it go on to long. Or, trust how your symptoms make you feel. If you feel truly awful, alarmed, then go to the ER.
