It is definitely possible and unfortunately happens more often than people think.
Patients having Focal Impaired seizures do wierd things and are confused after the seizure so it may appear to be drug induced or from withdrawal. A lady I know in England took off her clothes in a McDonalds while having a focal impaired seizure.
Sometimes seizure, patients become uncooperative, argumentative and violent, which may also lead them to believe it is alcohol or drugs. Also, they may wander paying no attention to people telling them to stop because they are in a post-ictal state.
I had a focal impaired seizure while I was driving and I crawled over the top of my mom in the passenger seat, got out and started to run and I ran out into the highway.
So many peculiar things can happen during seizures. I two have been accused of being drunk or on drugs a number of times. When people see someone acting in an unusual way the it's the simplest conclusion to come to.
I would cut the EMS personal a little slack since I'm sure they've seen more than their share of alcohol or drug induced seizures.
I also had seizures daily. In fact my neighbors grandson (I believe) had 100 or more seizures a day.
Were these the first seizures your daughter ever had?
Take care,
Jake

@jakedduck1 During one episode of a focal aware seizure I took my jacket off and threw it to the ground and pointed to it and acted like that was the cause of my seizure and ran out the front door of the restaurant. During another episode I pointed at something on my fireplace mantel like it was the cause of my seizure.
