What can I take to relieve the pain in my legs from the Prolia shots?

I took Prolia injections monthly in my arm for several years for osteoarthritis but never experienced any pain from the injections. Sorry you are experiencing pain. Has your doctor discussed giving the injections in a different area - arm vs. leg vs. abdomin? Just a thought that may or may not make a difference for you.

my doctor did give me the shots in my upper arm. I have an appointment with him on October 20th. He is going to check my dexascan. Don't know if he will have any answers for my leg and hip pain. The pain is so bad now I have been using my walker inside my condo as I can hardly stand any more. Also using a heating pad for my thigh and hip. Have an appointment with pain specialist and also one with my orthopedic doctor in November. Hope he doesn't have to operate on my hip.
