I'm so happy to know that you have been seizure-free for around 12 years. That's truly wonderful and such an incredible achievement. Congratulations ! 😊
If you don't mind me asking, what type of surgery did you have, and which area of the brain was involved? Have you noticed any changes since the surgery?

I had surgery on my left temporal lobe, I had a piece of scar tissue the size of a half dollar. It's only job was to cause seizures. It affected my memory at first but it seems like it's gotten better. If I start to say something that I've already said I tend to catch sooner than I did before surgery. In the beginning I mixed words up. I would say things like mountain bike instead of Mountain Dew;)
