bayhorse, I didn't mean to recommend the doctors, but only the process of getting more opinions without traveling around.

I know and respect Mork, and don't know Cho. I've sent films to Deuk, but wouldn't consider seeing him. Many of the University Hospitals offer the service, but with a fee of @$200 that you can't bill to insurance.
I've found interesting doctors from pubmed, other patients. from billing clerks, fellows are often quite talkative and a reliable source. My experience with doctor's recommedations is ask so that you can avoid the person they recommend. Nurses, though, can be quite frank.
I'm always looking for clinical skills, bedside manner not a priority. There is a site called RateMD. I try to field as many sources as I can.
I once called Supernus Pharmaceuticals to find out who was using the most myobloc thinking I'd find an experienced practitioner. They game me the name of a doctor at Stanford that the patients hated. He turned out to be one of my all time favorites. I could see why they hated him, though.

@gently Love this, also nice to know you walk the walk. I may be reaching out to you. To potentially research Epidural Fibrosis. I've been chasing a phantom for 3 years . And feel I'm closing in but a common cause of Failed back Surgery Syndrome. EF seems to me to be intentionally never discussed or dismissed. My eyes are about gone between working on a computer. Studying the varied medical issues required to get answers when none are being offered. As well as other topics I have a personal interest in. Thanks Again for All Your input. Shawn
