Lyrica does give me some relief but it makes me very dizzy, sometimes to the point of having to use a cane for balance. I don't usually take it during the daytime.

Welcome @rhbassham, It's good to hear you get some relief from the neuropathy pain. I only have numbness and no pain with my neuropathy but also have balance issues. There are quite a few discussions on Lyrica for neuropathy. Here's a list of the discussions found using search if you want to scan through them - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/discussions/?search=lyrica%20for%20neuropathy.
Have you talked with your doctor about any alternative treatment that might not make you dizzy?

As far as some seizure patients taking Lyrica I have heard from their dizziness has improved over time, usually weeks to months.
How long have you been taking it?
Take care,
Jake
Look in to the side effects of Lyrica. It can affect everything from balance to double vision and everything in between. I’m presently trying to wean myself off.

1 ReactionI take only 100mg of Lyrica daily down from 400 a day.
LDN - Low dose naltrexone really works for pain but not numbness.

Luckily some of us don't have those side effects from Lyrica. For me other than the ED it works great. I'd be miserable without it.
