Levator Ani is an anatomical structure that is closely associated with the prostate, making it susceptible to prostate cancer infiltration and damage from treatments like radiation therapy, and its role in urinary and fecal continence means it is significantly impacted by prostate cancer surgery and treatment, affecting patient outcomes.

Here is an article that discusses this problem
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37761280/.
You really need to speak to your doctor about this? It seems that this can be a real problem when it comes to treatment.. Must admit after all the years I’ve been attending weekly advanced prostate cancer meetings This is the first time I’ve heard of this.

Yes I’ve been through treatments and I’ve had this LA for about 20 years. I couldn’t take radiation after 8 treatments I developed severe diarrhea and couldn’t eat solid food for 2 weeks. I’m now on Orgovyx and my PSA and testosterone levels are undetectable. I’m hoping for the best.
