When I first had my RALP three years ago, I joked with my friends I should've had my hearing checked because I thought the urologist said there was a good chance I would be important after the surgery, but he really said impotent. Little did I know I predicted my future. My nerves weren't as spared as my surgeon hoped, and now the dick is dead with no chance of resurrection. Yes, Trimix works, and yes, my VED works so I can have an erection when I want one, but in those three years my wife's libido has shriveled worse than my penis. I refuse to give up on orgasms. If I have to masturbate to reach one, so be it. It isn't the same as it used to be, but it is still worthwhile. As Woody Allen described it, at least it's sex with someone you love.

As Willy Nelson said, "I've outlived my pecker". I just don't care anymore and glad to be alive.
