I have just completed 12 months of Evenity treatment, and like you went on it due to concern about spinal fractures. My T score went from -3.5 to -2.51. The first 6-7 months were difficult as the major amount of bone growth is happening rapidly. The term "growing pains" usually attributed to kids is perhaps how to view it in an accelerated way.

I did have knee swelling and joint pain that was very challenging until month 7 and then the pain dissipated. The first five months it literally kept me up at night. I decided to stay with it as the risks to my spine would pose a greater level of pain and disability if a fracture were to occur due to Osteoporosis.

Hope this helps. It's not easy but outcome was worth it.

You have mentioned something that I've been thinking about for awhile now. Growing pains. What should we expect to experience once these drugs are in our systems and begin the positive work they have been created to do. It seems reasonable to me that there are bound to be aches and pains and general discomfort while they do their work. The issue seems to be how to distinguish between those pains that are in service to us and those that signal danger to our bodies. Id love to know how others handle this. My endocrinologist has never spoken about this but I think it would have been helpful to me.
