Hi there,
I’m on celebrex for the same problems it sounds like. I have ankylosing spondylitis. It causes a lot of inflammation, and pain in my back, hips, tail bone and several areas along my spine and in between my shoulders. It’s a terrible disease that prevents me from being able to bend over or stand to long. It actually prevents you from doing anything for too long, even sitting. There is no cure, I take a biologic injection once a month called Bimzelix. It is supposed to slow down the progression of the disease. I haven’t seen a whole lot of benefit yet as I was just switched over to this med a few months ago. I do pray it will start helping a lot more than it is.
I was on meloxicam 15 mg once a day, but it was not enough. I still had a lot of pain and with meloxicam you couldn’t take any thing else especially not NSAIDs.
I recently changed to Celebrex 200 mg taken twice a day, I think it’s helping more than the meloxicam. One of the things I like about this is if I am in to much pain, overdid or muscle spasms, I can skip the second pill and take ibuprofens, and or a muscle relaxer or lidocaine patch or a lot more wine lol.
With Celebrex, you take one in the morning and one before you go to bed so it does give you the option to skip one if you need something else or more.

I hope this helps, prayers you find some relief as living with chronic pain is difficult and robs us of enjoyment in our daily lives, as you know.
Why are you taking Celebrex, what is your diagnosis?

I hope this helps.

I have Celebrex but don't take it anymore, although it did help me very much. I have RA with scoliosis, DDD and have pain no matter what I do (household chores, gardening, laundry, dishes, etc). I had to stop Celebrex due to terrible constipation from it, and I miss it a lot.
