These medications were recommended for me after prostate cancer treatment gave me osteopenia and osteoporosis but I'm also terrified of them and have read horrible things. I'm waiting to see an endocrinologist to ask about this, but I'm going to see if there are any in pill form so that, if the side effects are bad, I can just stop taking the pills vs. being stuck with side effects for a year while the injectables wear off.
