How do you know you have internal Hemrrohoids? I didn’t have any symptoms and only found out with my first colonoscopy. I was shocked. No pain, no bleeding….nothing. I did have 1 external hemrrohhoid that that had tortured me. It burst though after becoming thrombosed. (Another story.)

When I got my second colonoscopy, several years later, I had no internal hemorrhoids! The same doctor did it. So….mine went away or became undetectable.

My dad had surgery for internal hemorrhoids many years ago due to bleeding. It was successful and he never had any more problems with them. I think there are more modern treatments now.

Good luck!

How do I know that I have internal hemorrhoids, simply had a colonoscopy done about-15 years ago and I was mildly sedated, the doctor pointed to a monitor and said, do you see these four blue veins, those are hemorrhoids and they’re bulging probably just irritated, I mentioned it in a previous post.

I can feel the inflammation and it’s blocking me from partly from going to the bathroom. Still no blood though. It flares up if I sit all day.
