Hi,
I’ve just begun using the infrared but I do feel much better after a solid 30 to 40 minutes.
I do not know about sauna blankets but do your research. I have done so with saunas and they do vary.
Here is an overview of benefits I will quote.
“Infrared saunas are a safe adjunctive therapy for polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) that can help alleviate pain, reduce stiffness, and improve overall well-being by increasing circulation and reducing inflammation. Infrared heat directly warms the body, which can promote healing, relax muscles, and increase cellular ATP production. While not a replacement for medication or exercise, regular use offers significant, short-term pain relief and improves quality of life, but consulting a doctor before starting any new treatment is essential.”
Light, heat, colour therapy, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation, Yoga, diet and lifestyle is critical in my opinion. We are living in the age of technology and the information is easy to research but be circumspect in this endeavour.
Yes, I have had relief in my muscular pains and aches. But this is in adjunct with some supplements which will vary individually. Perhaps you might wish to seek out Functional Medicine where “East meets West”. But do so with the utmost of care and trust in those who would make claims in helping restore health and wellness.
Kind Regards.
