Hi Patty,
I'm so sorry that you lost your husband. Wow, 24 years ago and I'm sure you miss him just as much today. I feel the same about my husband, Ed who died a year ago. But we should both be grateful that our husbands are up in Heaven and out of pain. We'll be reunited with them eventually in God's time. Still it does get lonely.
By the way, my father's name was Mac too. Actually his name was Lorenzo McCray Wright. But he went by Mac. He wasn't Spanish. I don't know where the name Lorenzo came from and no one else in the family knew either. My father was in the Navy in WWII. Back then, when people didn't know your name they just said, "Hey, Mac!" It got very confusing for him at times!
Life isn't always easy but we'll get through it with God's help!

Thank You PLM, Sorry for your recent loss..yes..seems a lot of Mc's are tagged with Mc Or Mac..Now that my son Timothy Dylan ...is in his late 40's, people call him Mac also (: I had 4 kids so not too lonely, Just busy..I knew Mac was sick for the last 5 yrs of his life but he continued to work, He had Hepatitis C that was dormant for over 20 yrs & popped up again & was Dx with 7 tumors in his Liver.,ESLD,, .Ascites ...He refused treatment which was only Interferon at the time,, but much too late anyway...Now patients with this can take a pills for 8 weeks and clear..I Love Research & Science..
