Have undergone 2 rounds of it, with good effect. Results only lasted about a year though, and then required a full round of treatment - otherwise insurance would not cover it - as a “tune up”
What exactly is TMS therapy?
Trans magnetic therapy.
I had 30 TMS treatments couple months ago. ( 5 days a week for 6 weeks) I highly recommend it as it did wonders for me !!! I had deep depression and nothing worked, then my Dr. decided to try the TMS. I thank the Lord he did as it made a world of difference in me.
Thank you so much!!!!
30 treatments with no improvement
I have done two rounds of TMS. The first I had some short term success in the reduction of my depression. The second time unfortunately I had no success at all. I hope if you decide to do TMS that you enjoy a good long lasting result.
Did two rounds of TMS, about a year apart. First one had great results, but doc felt I needed a “tune up “ so did a second round. Response was good for the second as well. Haven’t needed it repeated since then - about 5 years. Only thing I complained about was that insurance insisted I had to do a complete session the second time - instead of the 10 treatments that the doctor wanted - or they wouldn’t pay for it.
Glad it helped you!

I will be interested to hear from anyone about TMS results.
My son was offered it but he refused (so far)...memory loss can happen and it's quite expensive.
Don't know if insurance will cover it.
It requires a commitment. I believe the # of recommended sessions is 20(?) done every week.
He tried 4 different anti-depressants and none were effective.
Can you share your circumstances? Thank you.
