I had similar symptoms but it took 6 months to get into the specialist. My test prior done by my PCP indicated my thyroid had shifted from hypothyroid to hyperthyroid ( until I weaned off of levothyroxine). The thyroid specialist suspects I had thyroiditis. A temporary shift apparently. He took measurements and then put me on minute doses of levothyroxine. Pcp had not been following my thyroid health to that detail. He also did a better job on medication instructions.
