Hi @callmekate
I had great success with Evenity. I had no side effects worth mentioning and a 30% bone density increase in my lumbar spine. More than I dared dream of. I was secretly hoping for 20%. When I got the results I was elated but afraid it could be a mistake, that much of an increase. But now, I'm darn sure that it is correct because I had the DXA checked by a certified bone densitometrist from a different location from where I had the scan and I repeated the scan 3 months later. All of these extra steps said scan results are real.

Oh, I haven't read this entire thread so I don't know if there was any discussion of this but that is a huge discrepancy between your DXA and your REMS test both for your hips and even more so for your spine.
Something it wrong there. You might want to get the DXA looked at by a qualified person. Once when in doubt I paid to have Lani Simpson review two of my DXA scans. This was when I had an unusual amount of bone loss between two scans. If your REMS score was accurate and your DXA wrong you should not be taking any osteoporosis meds.
I wish you the best of luck

Thanks for sending this. I have had no major trouble from my first shot, other than a prolonged bout of heart palpitations the next morning. I hope that doesn't happen again. I, too, was surprised when my doctor didn't ask for a DXA re-do after my results were so different between hip and spine. My next scan isn't until July. I'm encouraged by your results.
