Hopefully doing all things to protect ourselves that we know to do....hand washing, distancing, mask wearing (N95 for me), nebulizing, eating well, supplements like D and C etc. etc., help those of us that do decide to limit certain vaccines.
I had not had Covid until Feb. 2024 and it happened after three visits to the Mercy Hospital Pulmonary Rehab facility that did not require mask wearing. I was immediately concerned but said to myself, foolishly, surely they know what they are doing. Well they obviously didn't care about all of us with lung problems. I wound up in the hospital ER. It took me 24 to 48 hours to feel absolutely fine and stopped the Paxlovid early, my choice, my risk. P.S. I called two departments including the manager of the pulmonary rehab department and got nothing but 'cover up' excuses that they apparently felt would seem logical to me. I understand from a person that posts on this Mayo that one of the NY Pulmonary Rehab facilities they went to requires mask wearing.
So, beware.....don't fall down as I did when I allowed myself to foolishly believe they knew best, knew what they are doing....in not requiring mask wearing.

I don't know what "excuses" you were given about the masking but with all the screaming about people's rights being infringed upon and the rest of the hoopla about mask wearing I'm not surprised that no one wears a mask even in a medical facility.
