Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply. I'm feeling lost at the moment. Once the diagnosis was made there has been no help from the ortho dept other than to see a physical therapist, although no PT is available now or in the foreseeable future. My endocrinologist is familiar with osteoporosis but not scoliosis so no help there as well. I found out about the schroth method myself by looking online. I'll be traveling over an hour tomorrow hoping she will be able to help, but I'm reminding myself to keep my expectations realistic. It sounds like you don't have osteoporosis just scoliosis? If I can ask, where have you been receiving follow up care? Does this involve PT but not meds? Thanks again for reaching out!
