Hi
In the middle of an exacerbation this past spring, I had an appointment to travel to National Jewish.
I did an altitude, simulation test, and found I needed supplemental oxygen for the flight. Cabins are pressurized to 8000 feet.
I also found that if I was not active in Denver, I would be OK but if I was more active, I would need the supplemental oxygen.
My doctor offered the high altitude medication, but the nurse at National Jewish said it was not necessary.
I really recommend the high altitude simulation test.
I rented an oxygen concentrator approved for travel.
