If I were you I’d try to find the tablet form which is immediate release, and take it twice a day. Or I would have it compounded into a liquid.

In UK a gp can prescribe liquid venlafaxine & maybe other antidepressants also.
(I have tried this but I react badly to any instant forms of venlafaxine.)
