Sue, I am in the place like you. The pain of inflammation is at unbearable point. I have fiven myself 48 injections and the pain is taking a turn for the worst. I read that skipping one dose is ok but I am considering skipping all together until I get a hold of my endocrinologist. My numbers are not good -4 on my spine, I am 67 and was looking forward to adjusting to this med. I don’t feel safe to walk because of the pain.
Let me know if you choose another med or have considered Evenity.
Hugs

Hi
Well you're a pretty tough cookie if you've done that many I only was on it almost 3 weeks I just could not cope with it so I stopped before I saw the doctor sent him an email with what was going on and he was okay with it he said if it makes you that sick then you should not take it. So I was doing zoledronic acid for the past 3 years prior to this medication and it was working fine the only thing that screwed me up was having radiation for breast cancer. So I am going back on my zoldronic acid hopefully I have my infusion by October. The downside to that is I can't have it in the city I live in I have to go an hour away to get the infusion because now the company that makes the drug is only doing it at a private Clinic. Evenity I cannot take because I had a TIA in 2019. And the likelihood that you won't get the same pain with that drug is Slim from what I've read. What were you doing prior to forteo. Were you on a bisphosphonate prior
