It sounds as if you have nerve compression and maybe Pudendal neuralgia: This is a condition where the pudendal nerve is compressed or irritated, causing chronic pain, numbness, tingling, and burning in the genitals, perineum, or rectum. Symptoms often worsen when sitting.

I found your response very interesting, I absolutely do get a certain amount of relief in my legs when I lie down and sitting can be a very fidgety experience for me. Because of the weakness in my legs, I do sit for long periods of time, so I do believe you could be absolutely spot on with compression issues. Thanks for that good information.
