Replies to "Jaynedanco, why did you stop Prolia after five years? I’ve been on it for two years...."
I was told I had to stop it after 5 or 6 years and switch to something else or I'd be vulnerable to a break. I don't fully understand that but that's what I was told and I'm wondering now if they after this break with the reclast if I can go back on it after a year?
@jessicamc I am sorry I did not respond to this earlier, I never saw this until now. My endocrinologist said that you could only be on Prolia for a certain number of years. She suggested I go off and go on the Reclast. But, i had no problems with the Prolia. It worked well for me. But, the Reclast was another story. I believe if you are on the Prolia too long it can affect the femur.
