Hello. When I was on dialysis, I experienced this as well. Also with the addition of excessive sweating. Limiting caffeine seemed to help, also switching to strictly green tea. As I got my labs more stabilized and my body somewhat back in shape, it gradually went away. Hope this helps!

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions to help with my smelly armpits. So far, the best results have been with vinegar. On Friday I tried it and had no smell (unless my sniffer wasn’t working). Then Saturday I had an incident and had to go to hospital in an ambulance. I had just had a shower and applied vinegar and deodorant but could already smell myself by time I was in the ambulance. I know I stunk up the room in Emerg. One nurse left a package of wipes on the table so a couple times I took sone and washed my pits, but it didn’t help. It was really embarrassing. I should have taken the opportunity to ask the ER doctor about it. When a friend came to pick me up she said I made her car smell like really strong BO. I’m guessing anxiety had a big role to play. Will try vinegar again today, rubbing alcohol tomorrow. Anyhow, I will let the subject go now and continue to try various things.
