Hi! Anyone has taken Naproxen for neuropathic pain in feet? I am taking 10 days a month, twice a day and o admit I am getting a modest relief. Also at night when the pain is present I am using the spray Biofreeze to numb my feet for almost one hour or until I go to sleep.

My mom swore by Vicks vaporub on her feet at bed with socks on

I use naproxen every day, but along with the neuropathy in my feet, I have arthritis in more joints than I care to mention. I use diclofenac gel(Volteran) and lidocaine lotion on my feet a couple of times a day.

I also found a reference that might be helpful for answering your question:
"Traditional painkillers used alone, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), are often ineffective at treating neuropathic pain."
