Not a medical person but I would sure think that this is what to expect; a good day of PT is going to likely have some "aftershock" and then with rest it should be healing better & stronger. Our bodies thrive on tear down, rest and subsequent increased tolerance to stimuli. Sounds nearly exactly what I experienced when healing and now my knees feel 95% good as new. (I had partial replacements however.)
