It's a process of grief along with PTSD. I'm currently in therapy with a wonderful encouraging therapist. You might want to try a different therapist if you didn't get what you needed. I have found a couple of books that have really helped me sort things out.
1. "When Boobs Attack"
2. "What the F*ck Just Happened? A Survivors Guide to Life After Breast" Cancer Jen Rozenbaum
Excellent resources. Try and lean into whatever your spiritual life looks like. I have found Jesus is my saving grace. I highly recommend Him.

Hi
Thank you for the information I actually read a very good book that I found. The cancer survivors handbook it was excellent I got it off Amazon. My counselor was very very good unfortunately you only get eight sessions I had trauma counseling when I came home from London which is an hour away where I had to stay for treatment. You only get eight sessions there which I had to pay for in 2024. This year I had more counseling to cope more with all the grief. I am a very spiritual person and I do rely on my faith a lot. I just wish they would take into account women that have fibromyalgia and what treatment can do to you but they don't seem to have a clue. Plus going off hormones.
