I’m so sorry that you had to deal with anal cancer!
It could possibly have been a factor in your current constipation problem.
It may be a good idea to get a second opinion at a major university medical center- even Mayo- where they deal with more rare illnesses and complications from cancer treatments.
I ended up at Mayo because of GI problems caused by intestinal damage from chemo that wasn’t considered by my local doctors.
There may have been damage to the intestinal nervous system.
Look into major university medical centers or at Hospitals such as Mayo Clinic or Cleveland Clinic.
Keep digging and don’t give up!

Thank you so very much for your kind reply! It didn’t occur to me that I
should pursue another opinion….my symptoms have been minimized for so long
by local doctors. I will look into this. I am retired and don’t have much
money but it may be worth it to travel elsewhere for more experienced
doctors.
😘

yes aboslsutely keep digging. google everything and then verify they are ligit sites and start putting pieces together. Medical doctors in my opinion seem to have the answer alwasy with a drug which then causes more problems. When if they could just look at what the root cause is and treat it no doubt naturally. Have you tired or considered dietary changes for IBS such as more fiber, better food choices, less fat, increase in movement etc. Those can all make a difference with ibs and many intestinal issues we humans seem to get. (no doubt from the crap food we tend to eat)
