Thank you @rwinney for your reply. Sorry that it had taken me a few days to get back to you. I would like to respond to your questions. I have not joined the Facebook group with graduates as I do not participate in Facebook but I may consider it. You have asked about my top areas of change and improvement. I would like to share a few.
I have to say that high on the list has been conquering imsomnia without medication. I have followed every step of the cognitive behavioral approach I was taught during the PRC program. Very successful and helpful in using all of the other tools for pain management very much needed to deal with difficult days.
Other significant areas and helpful PRCisms I learned:
— biofeedback, breathing and learning to relax.
—pull in the view finder
—don’t catastrophize
—hurt does not equal harm
—moderate—I am constantly
learning how to handle and accept my limitations by using the tools I was given in the PRC program. Without this program I would never have learned that I am able and capable of pushing through the most difficult days.
Forever grateful to Dr Sletten and his caring professional team.

No worries about the response time . You've got bigger fish to fry!

I was also not on Facebook, but 6 months after graduating, I finally decided to join only for the "Living the C" private support group. Let me know if you need any assistance should you decide to join.

Congratulations on conquering insomnia. That was at the top of my list, too. What a good feeling and huge accomplishment!

The PRC/Sletten'isms have stuck in my brain and I literally live a lifestyle built around them - complete with Post-it notes as reminders in my daily planner. Cognitive behavioral therapy can really be such a game changer if you allow it.

I'm super happy to hear you're working the program and reaping benefits alreafy. I fully understand how difficult the difficult days can be and how the PRC lifestyle is by no means an easy task, so keep up the good work! I'm here if you need anything.
