When you use the nebulizer with saline, is anything mixed with the saline? I ask this because I was told not to use saline alone. Just making sure I understand.

Sorry if this is a repeat reply. I don't use anything other than the 4ml of 7% saline when I nebulize. Perhaps you were advised to add something to open your airways when nebulizing? Also, some folks find the 7% saline irritating to their lungs and use a lesser concentration, such as 3%.
