Thanks for your response and sending this over, Lisa. Perhaps my outcome
may have been different if the PA had used an ultrasound instead of blindly
inserting the needle into my temple. That is no doubt why the procedure
was successful the first few times, I was just lucky she hit the right
spot.

Oh well, I'm glad I no longer am a patient there. I should have left when
my favorite PA walked out the door, she was frustrated with how the
practice was being run, it should have been a sign.

I have a great Neurologist now that cares more about his patients than the
money that is coming in and that is comforting to me.

It means a lot to me that you took the time to educate me on my situation,
especially with how busy you are with all your patients.

Enjoy the rest of your summer! Thanks so much!

Lisa, I had no idea there was any other technique used being shot with Botox. Ultrasound? Shooting specific spots? We have 1 neurologist here. I do like him. I just figured he injected, (not really a shot) general areas around my head. Sometimes he let his visiting intern get practice too. I had 5 rounds of Botox. Didnt help…. On top of top of that, my wife said after the 1st few days it made me worse. Could it really have been from it not being administered properly?
I’d seriously like to know.
There’s a larger city about an hour from here but I dread going…
Thank you!
