Besides the dark room and television off, I recently stopped a routine I’ve had for years. I don’t read before going to bed anymore! I used to believe I could read myself to sleep and I did that for a long time. But I realized after I had tried multiple sleeping pills to no avail, that if I put aside the latest mystery I had my nose in, I wouldn’t be so stimulated with the latest “whodunit”!! I have been sleeping so much better and longer since doing this!
I have very good sleep habits. All above
