I've only had 1 injection and go in later this week for the 2nd. I took Tylenol before going in but once that wore off I have to say the injection sites were vert painful; I had to take Advil 2 nights in a row. The medication was warmed up beforehand. However, I asked for cold numbing spray prior to getting the injections (like I do when I get gel injections or cortisone in my knee) and that certainly helped with not feeling the sting of the syringes.

I found that the way the injections were adminstered made a big difference in injection site soreness. The syringes need to be room temp, and for me the injections need to be smooth and quick and adminstered at an angle into a nice pinched roll of fat in the stomach. If there is soreness, try an arnica cream ( inflamayar by pekana- german company). Hope this helps
