I started in July 2024 taking 3 mg and have worked my way up to 4.5, which Dartmouth LC clinic says is the recommended dose. It works differently in your body if you take higher doses. they also told me it could take up to 7-9 months for it to give the full benefit. I started getting an energy benefit much more in month 7-8. I cannot take anything at night, as I already have insomnia. I take all 4.5 in the morning. Is it perfect? No. Can I now do things that I couldn't do before? yes. I was sofa bound for 2.5 years and can now do my housework if I schedule 1 room a day thru the week, walk my dog 1 mile, and do a few other things here and there. That is SO much better than not being able to cook food or clean anything!

I tried4.5 and even went up to 6 mg about a year ago and I did not get any relief. I may try again if I can do it financially. I am not in a good situation and the 25 mg are not expensive. I am giving this a try and it helps during the day but I am waking up feeling terrible these last two days. I know it is post-exertion malaise and inflammation. I hate it, but I have to just keep going. Hang in there everyone.
