I took both Algae Cal Plus as well as the Strontium. It did improve my numbers a little on the bone density tests which I insist on doing every year. I had to quit taking it a couple of years ago as it was giving of me diarrhea . This last year t-score reading was -1.5 for my left hip neck, (down .1 from the previous year, -1.3 for my left Hip (total) a decrease of .07 from the previous year. If I do this year, I will be in the Osteoporosis range. Than my reading for the Spine (Total) was -1.4 which was and improvement of .3..I have been taking Ultimate Bone Support by Advanced BioNutritionals for the past year. Depending on the web site, different ones are recommended as the No. 1 choice. Which one would you recommend. I also take coral calcium, Krill oil. Vitamin D3, Calm by Joseph's organic for my nerves. My heart is good. I am told that my arteries are like a babie's - clear

@joanmperez, I follow the AlgaeCal suggestions, only with the Now Foods brand. I think it is cleaner without lead. The kind of magnesium in AlgaeCal, magnesium oxide can cause diarrhea. I take magnesium glycinate instead. This way, I take each supplement separately. No diarrhea.

I stopped taking the strontium, because it is heavier than calcium, so interferes with DEXA results. I do wonder, though, if it might help bones.
