I also got PMR several weeks after getting the flu vaccine. Years ago I had a rheumatological response to the tetanus vaccine. I haven't had a tetanus shot since and doubt I will ever get another flu vaccine. For sure cause and effect? No way to know, but there sure is a lot of circumstantial evidence out there.
