Awful to hear that you are not getting timely medical follow up.

There are now major cutbacks to all services in Canada.
I also live in BC, and friends tell me it's getting more difficult
to get attention at some of the Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) centres they went to.
Today I read this article:

The Federal Government has slashed 10%-- 20% or more
for all services: meaning there is less money transferred to Provinces.
My personal experience is this:
my annual blood test - done last month -
less than half of the usual tests were requested and therefore not done.
I will ask my family doctor why this has changed from the last decades.
How can we catch incipient medical conditions, if we are not
monitored properly with necessary basic blood tests.

Yes it's just ridiculous. I will just go into the office if I don't hear from them Monday because I don't dick around it's my health my results I want to know what's happening. I work in the hospital for 34 years and I have never seen things the way they are now I retired 4 years ago
