@glenc I'm sorry to hear that the proximal row carpectomy did not work for you. Mine was successful, but now, 15+ years later, it is "wearing out" and I need to consider what my next step will be.
I have a very good friend who had both wrists fused, and her advice to me was two-part:
First, find out if you are a candidate for wrist replacement. Mayo Clinic and some other major centers have several years of experience doing this and fusion is very limiting.
Second, if fusion is your only option, talk to the surgeon about the planned angle of fusion to give you the best use possible for your most critical tasks.

Yes it is scheduled. Have received 3 opinions all said same thing.

Would you have a POC in the MAYO Clinic? I would be interested in talking to someone about a wrist replacement

Is done one week today. The pump didn't work so a blood blister came from no where and started bleeding out went to emergency and they cut off brace and took off pump. This is after second bandage change
