MRI showed an arachnoid web of dorsal thoracic spine; my MRI showed the “scalpel” shaped object. I have pain between my shoulder blades that radiates to my neck and shoulders. I have severe weakness of my right arm.
I’ve been to several doctors and they are not sure of a diagnosis. I’ve been told, in the past, that I have Sjogrens but blood work is normal. Without a diagnosis, I cannot receive treatment. My neuro problems are worsening. Would be interested in finding out who I need to see to get a diagnosis and treatment. I have neuropathy of both legs and arms.

@knoxville have you gone to a comprehensive medical center or university medical center? They are SO much better than the doctors in our communities . I had complained for about 1 year of vomiting, especially in the early morning. No nausea, no pain, just ejectial vomiting. The ER docs were very condescending and told me to drink more water as I was just dehydrated. I really felt like I had had a stoke as it was very difficult to walk, choking if I tried to eat or drink. My husband took me to the ER for the hundredth time, but now I was non-responsive. The docs still didn’t know what was up and couldn’t explain the MRI. Then, my husband called the university hospital about 50 miles away, and they immediately gave us an appointment. I had a rare autoimmune disease on my brain. It took me about 6 months to recover and I’m still working on it today.
Please find a comprehensive/university hospital! You need and have earned this!
Do you have a friend or family member who can help you with locating a hospital and giving you a ride?
